OUR STAFF
Alma's professional multidisciplinary, multicultural staff is specially trained to listen, to discuss individual & family problems and to help cope with problems related to special needs.
The staff includes: case managers, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, parent/peer advocates, psychiatrists, psychiatric technicians, teachers, specialized aquatic personnel and volunteers.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Alma's Board of Directors include representatives of the business and professional community, parents and consumers. Our Board members take pride in offering continuing guidance to insure the highest quality service to individuals and families.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
Alma provides a wide range of mental health counseling and support to children, adolescents, adults and their families who are experiencing significant emotional problems.
DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Developmental Disabilities include mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism, in addition to conditions closely related to mental retardation or requiring similar treatment. These conditions must originate before age eighteen (18), continue, or be expected to continue indefinitely, and constitute a substantial handicap.
OTHER CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY NEEDS
Focusing on family generational needs, Alma provides preschool and after school programs, family and peer support groups, and varied aquatic programs designed for the special needs of infants to seniors.

We have programs located in Pico Rivera, Walnut, Long Beach, East Los Angeles, Norwalk, Huntington Park, Boyle Heights and other locations in Los Angeles County.
