EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Clinical Supervisor (Full-time) (1 Position)
LCSW or LMFT with two years post licensure experience to provide clinical supervision to registered ASW’s and MFT-Interns. Provide individual and group supervision, as well as coordinate student training programs and in-house training program for clinical staff. Qualifications: Must have completed the 15-hour Clinical Supervision Training. Must be knowledgeable and competent with DMH documentation. Previous Clinical Supervision experience a plus.

Clinician (Full-time) (2 Positions)
Provide individual and family therapy, conduct psychosocial assessments, and develop treatment goals and outpatient psychotherapy with children and families. Qualifications: BBS registered ASW or MFT-Intern (Licensed preferred). Strong clinical background with experience working in community based mental health program. Knowledge of DMH paperwork, policies and procedures preferred. Flexibility and desire to work in the field/community setting. Bilingual in English / Spanish required.

Facilitator (Full-time) (1 Position)
Responsible for developing and coordinating family-centered team to meet the individualized needs of children and families and for the developing of an integrated plan and leadership to ensure implementation of services that is responsive to concerns and builds on strengths. Provide an advanced level of facilitation to support and enhance the efforts of children and their families/caregivers the systems workers, which are part of the support team, and other individuals in a variety of environments. Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related field; Master degree preferred. Minimum 2 years experience serving individuals with complex need including SED youth/families and/or youth residential settings. Experience with the mental health, child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems. Able to work evening and weekend hours as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Child and Family Specialist (Full-time) (1 Position)
Provide oversight of clients from program admission in collaboration with the parents; develop individualized service plans based on assessment reports provided. Assess needs and services that will assist in the delivery of service and advocacy. Manage community and family crises and evaluate parent/child/family progress and participates in interdisciplinary team meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related field. Experience with Wraparound services and/or SED youth in community-based settings and/or MHRS experience with the mental health, child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Able to work evening and/or weekend hours as needed.

Clinician, Full Services Partnership, (Full-time)
Job duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing treatment goals, and psychotherapy with children, transitional youth, and their families. With the support and guidance of the Program Manager, employees are required to be on-call during non-work hours and may work evening and weekend hours as needed. This is a community based program and you will have the opportunity to work out in the field with your client and their family while helping them on their path to wellness and recovery. Qualifications: BBS registered ASW or MFT-Intern (Licensed preferred). Strong clinical background with experience working in an intensive, community based mental health program, strong knowledge of DMH paperwork, policies and procedures, flexibility and desire to work in the field/community setting. Bilingual in English / Spanish required.

Parent Partner, Full Service Partnership, (Full-time)
Provide peer support to parents and assist them to successfully engage with the program and staff. Support families who have a child(ren) at high risk of being placed out of home. Assist families by helping the parents and/or caregivers identify their needs, role model new strategies, and do ‘whatever it takes’ to promote their success. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. A parent with a child(ren) previously involved in the LA County Department of Children and Family Services, Probation, or Mental Health and have experience as a caregiver of a child with complex needs. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Able to work evening and/or weekend hours as needed.

Fund Development/Events Coordinator
Will be responsible for fostering and cultivating fundraising efforts for the organization and for researching, identifying, managing and writing proposals to support program services offered by the agency. Will also be responsible for coordinating and/or participating in community functions and fundraising events to further the mission and vision of ALMA Family Services. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years fundraising experience. Demonstrated knowledge in the area of grant opportunity searches and knowledge of federal, state, and other grant programs. Requires excellent judgment and integrity. Previous experience in events coordination required.

Program Instructor, Afterschool Enrichment Program (Full-time)
Support in an administrative capacity of client case, assistance in the duties associated with the administrative operation of the after school program, and executing program activities in a teaching capacity as developed by the lead program instructor which meet the goals and objectives of the Program. Qualifications: Associate’s Degree or at least two years college equivalent in Child Development or a related field. Two years experience working with children in a licensed child care center, comparable group child care program, or accredited school. Knowledge in CCLD Title XXII law associated with the operation of child centers. Bilingual in Spanish and ability to read and write fluently. Current First Aid and Community CPR certification (8hrs) and Child Care: California approved Child Care Provider Course (7 Hrs); Total of 15 hrs.
